Hi my name is Lucy and I am a fully qualified clinical hypnotherapist. My training was completed at the prestigious AngloEuropean College of Therapeutic Hypnosis with Adam Eason, one of only seven schools world-wide certified to teach certain courses. I have diplomas in Clinical Hypnotherapy, Hypnotherapy in Practice and NLP Practice. I am fully insured to practice Hypnotherapy and I am a member of the UK Hypnotherapy Council (UKHC) and the National Council of Hypnotherapists (NCH) which means I adhere to a stringent Code of Ethical Conduct. I strongly believe in lifelong learning and am constantly working on my skills and knowledge by regularly continuing to study, attending seminars, workshops, engaging in peer support and supervision. As well as being a hypnotherapist I am a partner, mother and step mother so know all too well about balancing daily family life with work and a social life. I enjoy days out, walks and going to the beach. I love spending quality time with my family and friends. My journey to becoming a hypnotherapist began with my own struggle with social anxiety. This became worse after having my son. The thought of talking to and meeting other new mums and the awkward encounters at the school gates and other social gatherings caused me to withdraw from social situations. Being a mobile hairdresser at the time was a contradiction to my anxiety when I was working I knew what to say and how to act and could pull off some normality. But I knew this was not how I wanted to live my life and I did not want my insecurities to rub off on my children. So I started my journey into self help and then into hypnotherapy. It changed my life and helped me become more confident and less anxious (a little anxiety can be a good thing; it helps protect us from danger for one thing.) I was really blown away with how learning these new skills and different ways of thinking could have such an impact on how I lived my day to day life. I started to share some of the things I had learnt with friends and my hairdressing clients and it felt amazing to see how others benefitted from changing even little things. I wanted to know more, I wanted to help more people and so I decided to become a hypnotherapist. So now I want to help you, to give you the skills so you too can achieve your goals and live a life full of happiness
If you feel Hypnotherapy is something that may be of benefit to you please feel free to call or email me with any questions or to book an appointment.
